Esquire Contents Page Research

January 14, 2011

Esquire is a men’s magazine, published in the U.S. by the Hearst Corporation. Founded in 1932, it flourished during the Great Depression under the guidance of founder and editor Arnold Gingrich

The Esquire contents pages are some of my favourite, I sometimes buy the magazine just because of the amazing composition that creates a stunning effect. The typeface that has been used is simple yet classy which attracts a certain target market i.e classy gentlemen. The minimilistic colours have been used to create a simple, readable contents page which look and reads brilliantly.
